Welcome to Glasir Eurasiers

Hi my name is Kelly and I am a owner, breeder and enthusiast of the beautiful and charming Eurasier breed. I am a small family breeder based in South Yorkshire. I love my dogs and all of  our dogs are first and foremost much loved pets and members of our family.

I have always been a dog lover, I was lucky enough to grow up with two wonderful Great Danes Tara and Henry and I believe it's them (and my mum) that really sparked my love of dogs. 

​​But while I love Danes I have always been fascinated by spitz breeds, the looks and the characters, so when I got my own home I knew I had already set my heart on adding a spitz to my family. But, after researching for a long time I struggled to find a breed that suited both mine and my husbands lifestyle. Then I came across the Eurasier! and they sounded perfect for what we were looking for, a medium sized spitz breed, bred to be a companion and form a strong bond with their family. Well after that we set about meeting them on a Eurasier group walk and it was love at first sight. That was back in 2013 when we brought home our first Eurasier  Tyler, safe to say we completely fell in love with the breed.

Since then our Eurasiers have brought us so much joy and love that I can't imagine life without a Eurasier in it (or a few!). In fact I loved the breed so much I even decided to give dog showing a try and I have now been lightly showing Eurasiers nearly 10 years, everything from open shows to championship shows and Crufts and we have had some amazing success. I do occasionally breed and will sometimes have puppies available. Of course the breed is very important to me and as such the  health and temperament of the puppies I breed is very important to me too. All my breeding dogs are health tested and I put a lot of effort into caring for them and our puppies to try to ensure the best chance for healthy, happy, well socialized Eurasiers. I have been fortunate a lot of our owners keep in touch with me and I have seen our puppies go on to become therapy dogs, to enjoy taking part in various sports with their owners like paddle boarding and skiing. To taking part in agility, hoopers and scent training. But most rewarding for me is to see the companionship and love they share with their families.
